All financial advisors must register with the Ohio Division of Securities to practice in Ohio. Your sponsoring firm submits Form U4 through FINRA's Web CRD system. Includes background check, fingerprinting, and ongoing compliance requirements.

Additional Licenses (Optional but Valuable)

Life & Health Insurance License (Ohio Dept. of Insurance) — required to sell insurance products. Series 65 or Series 66 — required for investment advisory services. CFP® designation — highly valued for wealth management roles.
